My name is Joshua Lee and I am a year 2 Computer Engineering student. I am blessed to be part of the E-Scholars program and am one of the only E-Scholars that chose to stay in Tembusu instead of RC4! One of the reason I made this decision is that Tembusu’s culture of inclusivity and acceptance really spoke to me as well as the fact that their modules intrigued me greatly. I am very thankful that the E-Scholars office allowed us to choose other Residential Colleges as it let’s us be more expressive with what we want to learn and do at our time in NUS.

During my time in Tembusu I served as the Sports Director of the College Student Committee and was the convening chairman of the annual Inter-College Games (ICG). These opportunities helped me develop my skills in working cohesively in a team, which I thoroughly enjoy! I truly believe that a strong and bonded team will be able to achieve much more than any sole individual ever can. I am currently serving as the captain of the NUS rugby varsity team, where I am hoping to be able to participate in some competitions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. As you can probably tell, I love sports in general and if you are ever missing a person to fill the team just let me know!”
