Hey everyone 🙂

My name is Huai Zhe and I am a year 3 Mechanical Engineering undergraduate taking a specialization in Aeronautical Engineering. Being part of the latest batch of graduates from the 6-Month NOC Ho Chi Minh City programme, I developed an interest in entrepreneurship and hope to use what I know to develop innovative solutions to today’s problems. As part of my internship with BLOCK71, I have helped several startup founders expand their operations across Southeast Asia and have been inspired to make a change myself.

Entering into my final year within NUS, I am undertaking a Final Year Project to explore the use of Extended Physics Informed Neural Networks to optimize the solutions to many complex physics equations such as the Navier Stokes Equation to predict airflows. I aspire to apply the concepts behind aerodynamics and machine learning to optimize many real-world aeronautical engineering processes.

Apart from my studies, I am also a bookworm and gamer. I enjoy reading books ranging from Japanese Literature to random romance novels like Crazy Rich Asian (don’t judge me pls). As for gaming, I mostly play LoL and random mobile games hehe.

I believe that while the university is a place to excel and build your academic knowledge/achievements, don’t forget to take a step back and enjoy once in a while :). Feel free to contact me should you want to discuss anything at all!
